สวัสดีตอนเช้า - 5 ม.ค. 2567 เคลื่อนไหวในกรอบ 1420-1440 จุด

SET ฟื้นตัวจากกรอบล่างแนวรับบริเวณ 1420 จุด ซึ่งยังทำหน้าที่เป็นแนวรับได้ อย่างไรก็ตาม ดัชนีที่ยังไม่พักตัว หลังปรับขึ้นมาต่อเนื่อง ทำให้มองกรอบบนมี upside จำกัด บริเวณแนวต้าน 1440 จุด ส่งผลให้คาด SET จะเคลื่อนไหวในกรอบระหว่าง 1420-1440 จุด ประเด็นสำคัญ ติดตามตัวเลขจ้างงานสหรัฐในคืนนี้

ประเด็นสำคัญ

• การจ้างงานภาคเอกชนสหรัฐ ธ.ค. เพิ่มขึ้น 1.64 แสนตำแหน่ง สูงกว่าคาดและสูงสุดนับตั้งแต่ ส.ค. ขณะที่ตัวเลขผู้ยื่นขอสวัสดิการว่างงานครั้งแรกสัปดาห์ที่แล้วลดลงสู่ 2.02 แสนราย ต่ำกว่าคาด
• EIA รายงานสต็อกน้ำมันดิบสหรัฐลดลง 5.5 ล้านบาร์เรลในสัปดาห์ที่แล้ว สวนทางที่คาดว่าลดลงเพียง 3.7 ล้านบาร์เรล ขณะที่สต็อกน้ำมันเบนซินเพิ่มขึ้น 10.9 ล้านบาร์เรล ที่ระดับ 237 ล้านบาร์เรล สูงสุดในรอบกว่า 30 ปี สวนทางที่คาดจะลดลง
• กรมการบินพลเรือนของจีนคาดจำนวนเที่ยวบินระหว่างประเทศเข้าออกประเทศจีนจะมากกว่า 6,000 เที่ยวต่อสัปดาห์ภายในสิ้นปี 2567 หรือราว 80% ของระดับก่อนโควิด จากระดับปัจจุบันที่ราว 4,600 เที่ยวบินต่อสัปดาห์
• สภาพัฒน์ฯ กังวลปัจจัยเสี่ยง ศก. โลกปี 2567 หลัง ศก. จีนยังไม่ฟื้น ความเสี่ยงภูมิรัฐศาสตร์เพิ่มขึ้น แนะนำไทยควรทำตลาดใหม่ เพื่อดึงการท่องเที่ยว-การค้า มอง ศก. ใน ปท. ยังขยายตัวได้จากการใช้จ่ายภาครัฐฟื้นตัว-การบริโภคยังโตต่อเนื่อง

กลยุทธ์การลงทุน

ช่วงสั้นมองตลาดหุ้นไทยมีโอกาสปรับตัวขึ้นหรือ sideways-up แต่ยังมี upside ที่จำกัดและมีมูลค่าการซื้อขายเบาบาง เนื่องจากยังอยู่ในช่วงเทศกาลเฉลิมฉลองและรอปัจจัยชี้นำใหม่ๆ ดังนั้นกลยุทธ์ลงทุนจึงแนะนำ “Selective Buy”

ล็อคเป้าลงทุน

Weekly Portfolio : ช่วงสั้นมอง SET มีโอกาสปรับตัวขึ้นแต่ยังมี upside ที่จำกัดและมีมูลค่าการซื้อขายเบาบาง เนื่องจากยังอยู่ในช่วงเทศกาลเฉลิมฉลองและรอปัจจัยชี้นำใหม่ๆ กลยุทธ์ลงทุนจึงแนะนำ “Selective Buy” ในหุ้นที่มีโอกาสได้รับผลบวก ดังนี้
1) หุ้น Big Cap. (SET50) ที่คาดเป็นเป้าหมายการลงทุนจากแผนจัดตั้งกองทุน TESG ซึ่งเราได้คัดเลือกหุ้นที่อยู่ในดัชนี SETESG ที่มีคุณสมบัติน่าสนใจ ดังนี้ (I) ได้ ESG Rating ตั้งแต่ “A”-“AAA” และราคาหุ้นปรับตัวลงแรงกว่า SET ในปีที่ผ่านมา เลือก OR AOT หรือ (II) ได้ ESG Rating “AAA” และราคาหุ้นปรับขึ้นดีกว่า SET ในปีที่ผ่านมา อีกทั้งผลดำเนินงานแข็งแกร่ง และคาดให้ Div. Yield สูงกว่าปีละ 5% เลือก PTT KTB

3) หุ้นที่อาจได้แรงหนุนจากการทำ Short Covering มากกว่า 10% ของมูลค่าซื้อขายตั้งแต่เดือน ก.ย. 2566 และเราแนะนำ ซื้อ ได้แก่ ADVANC MINT
4) หุ้นที่ได้ประโยชน์จากโครงการ Easy E-Receipt ลดหย่อนภาษีไม่เกิน 5 หมื่นบาท เริ่มในวันที่ 1 ม.ค. – 15 ก.พ. 2567 ได้แก่ CRC HMPRO
ช่วงสั้นแนะนำระมัดระวังหุ้นที่คาดได้รับผลกระทบลบอย่างมีนัยจากแผนปรับขึ้นค่าแรงขั้นต่ำซึ่งคาดจะมีการเสนอ ครม. พิจารณาภายในสัปดาห์นี้ ได้แก่ กลุ่มขนส่งพัสดุ (KEX) กลุ่มอาหาร (CPF GFPT TU) กลุ่มอสังหาฯ (LPN PSH) และกลุ่มอิเล็กทรอนิกส์ (HANA) ขณะที่ระยะกลางแนะนำระมัดระวังหุ้นที่คาดได้รับผลกระทบจากภาวะเอลนีโญที่จะกระทบต่อกำลังซื้อภาคเกษตรลดลง ได้แก่ กลุ่มสินเชื่อ (MTC SAWAD) กลุ่มยานยนต์ (SAT STANLY) กลุ่มเครื่องดื่ม (CBG จากราคาน้ำตาลที่สูงขึ้น) รวมถึงกลุ่มเกษตรและอาหาร (CPF GFPT BTG)

Market today

The SET recovered from the lower bound of 1420, which was able to act as a support. However, the index did not rest after a steady rise, causing the upper bound to have limited upside at resistance of 1440. The SET is expected to move between 1420-1440. Key to follow is US job market figures released Friday, US time.

Today’s highlights

• Private sector employment in the US grew by 164,000 positions in Dec, the highest increase since August and exceeding expectations. Initial jobless claims last week fell to 202,000, lower than anticipated.
• EIA reported a decrease of 5.5mn bbl in crude oil stock last week, steeper than the expected decrease of 3.7mn bbl. Gasoline inventories increased by 10.9mn bbl to 237mn bbl, the highest in over 30 years, contrary to expectations of a decrease.
• China's Civil Aviation Administration anticipates international flights to and from the country to exceed 6,000 per week by the end of 2027, approximately 80% of the pre-COVID level, up from the current rate of ~4,600 flights per week.
• The NESDC expressed concern about global economic risks in 2027, noting China's continued economic slump and increased geopolitical risks. It recommends Thailand explore new markets to boost tourism and trade. It observed that domestic economic growth is still possible due to recovering government spending and ongoing private consumption.
• Thailand's Prime Minister is set to discuss the overlapping maritime area of 16,000 square kilometres with Cambodia at a bilateral meeting on Feb 7th. Thailand's Ministry of Energy plans to submit data on petroleum resources worth over Bt10mn and seek a resolution on the JDA for resource sharing north of latitude 11 degrees.
• AOT is preparing to accommodate Chinese and Thai tourists following the visa-free entry. It expects 8mn Chinese tourists to travel to Thailand, a recovery of 75%.

Strategy today

In the short term, the Thai stock market is expected move sideways up, but upside is limited and volume expected to be low as the market emerges from the year-end holidays and waits for new catalysts. Our strategy is selective buy.

Trading today

Weekly portfolio: In the short term the SET is expected to able to move up, but upside is limited and trading volume will be low as the market is just coming out of long holidays and waiting for new catalysts. We recommend “selective buy” in themes with specific drivers:
1) Big-cap stocks in SET50 to be selected as investment targets as the TESG fund is set up. Our picks are classified into two groups: 1) companies with ESG rating of between “A” and “AAA” and whose price underperformed the SET last year – OR and AOT; and 2) companies with ESG rating of “AAA” that outperformed the SET last year with strong profit and dividend yield greater than 5% - PTT and KTB.
2) Stocks benefiting from declining bond yield – Commerce (BJC, CPALL and CPAXT), Healthcare (BDMS and BCH), Utilities (GULF), REIT (DIF), Property Development (AP) and Consumer Finance (TIDLOR).
3) Stocks that may be supported by short covering, up by 10% of trading value since Sep 23 and our recommendation – ADVANC and MINT.
4) Stocks benefiting from the E-Receipt measure allowing a personal income tax deduction on purchases of up to Bt50,000 between Jan 1–Feb 15, 2024 – CRC and HMPRO.
In the short term we recommend being cautious on stocks that are expected to be materially affected by the planned rise in the minimum wage: Courier Services (KEX), Food (CPF, ZEN, GFPT and TU), Real Estate (LPN and PSH) and Electronic Components (HANA). In the medium term we recommend being cautious on stocks that are set to be affected by El Nino, which will erode purchasing power in the agricultural sector: Finance (MTC, SAWAD), Automotive (SAT, STANLY), Beverages (CBG has high sugar cost) and Food & Agriculture (CPF GFPT and BTG).

Daily top picks

CPALL: 4Q23 profit is expected to rise both YoY and QoQ, the highest in the sector, off better sales volume and lower interest expense after CPAXT completed refinancing in Apr 2023. The stock has been s a laggard compared to the sector for the last three months and is also listed on the SETESG Index with an “AAA” rating.
ERW: 4Q23 core profit is expected to be the year’s best, growing YoY and QoQ from stronger tourism and higher ARR. ERW’s long-term growth strategy is a focus on its budget hotel “HOP INN” and expansion overseas. The stock is also listed on the SETESG Index with an “A” rating.
