2Q26F: Net profit down YoY but up QoQ
SNNP’s 2Q26 net profit is expected at Bt73mn (-43.8% YoY, +20.9% QoQ), despite weak domestic consumption. Top-line should recover in 2H26, driven by new product rollouts, snack season, and stronger sales in Vietnam (+16% YoY sales target). However, softer domestic demand prompts us to trim our 2026 revenue and net profit forecasts by 3% and 5% to Bt5.51bn (-2% YoY) and Bt410mn (-21% YoY), respectively. We maintain our Neutral rating but raise our 2026 target price to Bt7.60 per share from Bt6.90, based on a target PER of 16.7x (-1SD, adjusted from -1.25SD) to reflect 2H26 earnings recovery.
2Q26F net profit to fall YoY but up QoQ. We expect SNNP’s 2Q26 net profit at Bt73mn, decreasing 43.8% YoY but growing 20.9% QoQ, as we believe the net profit has already bottomed out for the year in 1Q26. We estimate total revenue at Bt1.29bn, declining 7.1% YoY but increasing 1.4% QoQ. Domestic sales are expected to grow slightly QoQ but drop YoY in line with softened consumption. Meanwhile, overseas sales are projected to show solid growth both YoY and QoQ, supported by sales in Vietnam and Laos, while sales in Cambodia remain flat at a low level. Thus, revenue portion from domestics should reach 79% while overseas will be 21%. Due to the domestic strategy of product resizing and lowering promotional activities, we expect gross margin to improve slightly QoQ to 26.7% from 26.2% in 1Q26. However, it will still decline from 29.2% in 2Q25 due to higher overall packaging costs YoY. SG&A expenses are estimated at 19% of total revenue. Therefore, in 1H26, we expect SNNP to record a total revenue of Bt2.56bn, decreasing 10.9% YoY, and a net profit of Bt133mn, dropping 55.6% YoY.
Expect sales recovery in 2H26 with hope pinned on Vietnam sales: SNNP targets a recovery in 2H26 domestic sales driven by new product launches, product resizing, and promotional activities, combined with support from consumer confidence. In 3Q26, better recovery signals are starting to emerge, alongside the peak selling season for snacks, which will support gross margin better than beverages. Meanwhile, overseas revenue continues to rely on Vietnam as a key driver, with SNNP targeting sales from Vietnam this year at around Bt650mn, growing approximately 16% YoY. Sales volume is expected to be more heavily weighted toward 2H26.
Revised 2026 earnings estimate downward: Due to weaker-than-expected domestic consumption, despite slight recovery signals, we revise down our 2026 revenue estimate by 3% to Bt5.51bn (dropped 2% YoY). We project the full-year gross margin at 26.9%. Consequently, our 2026 net profit estimate is cut by 5% to Bt410mn (dropped 21% YoY). Earnings in 3Q26 are expected to remain down YoY but could recover QoQ.
Key Risks: Overseas factory management, foreign exchange and economic volatility abroad, and slow consumption recovery. SNNP received an AA rating in the 2025 SET ESG Ratings. In terms of the environment, the company focuses on reducing greenhouse gas emissions and emphasizing the use of reusable or biodegradable packaging. For social aspects, the focus is on human rights and consumer health.
